Sample review
Small samples can misrepresent pattern, sheen and colour variation. Important finishes should be reviewed in suitable light and, where appropriate, through larger control samples or mock-ups.
Approval of appearance does not replace technical compliance review by the responsible consultant or authority.
Healthy and responsible choices
We consider emissions information, material transparency, recycled content, durability, repairability and end-of-life routes where reliable data is available. Sustainability claims should be supported by current manufacturer evidence rather than broad labels.
Substitutions
A visually similar substitute may behave differently in fire, acoustics, cleaning, colour stability or installation. Proposed substitutions should be reviewed against the original performance criteria, not appearance alone.
Furniture and ergonomics
Furniture selection considers adjustability, task duration, user range, cable management, access, layout flexibility and local support. Trial settings can be useful when a product will be deployed at scale.
